As a 48 year old accomplished interior designer and artist, I finally decided to merge my experience as a creative business woman with my love for the finest in fashion, style and beauty. Cincinnista will bring you regular info on design and fashion trends, shopping resources, fitness and beauty tips, and how to simply love the skin you’re in. For those of us seasoned women with careers and/or kids, taking care of ourselves inside and out is paramount. This is what Cincinnista is all about!
So….A bit about me…
I grew up in a midwest family with pretty conservative roots but solid parents. I did the small liberal arts college thing, loved it, then moved to Chicago following the sales and marketing corporate path while continuing my fun loving college experience on the weekends:) After 4 years of unfulfilling jobs, I knew I had to make a big change: I moved to Cincinnati and pursued my degree in Interior Design while stringing together part-time jobs to pay the bills. A long road, but totally worth it!
Now, as a recently and happily married mom and business owner of Amy Youngblood Interiors, I know and envision much more thru my life experiences. I love the creative and funky. I’m open minded and love trying new things. I love beauty and great style. Yet my “Mid-West” girl background still lurks in my spirit as I care deeply about family, relationships and being the best person I can be!
